Meet the Team

Founder & Clinical Director

Meghan Sunayna Mehta, LCSW

South Asian, trauma-informed therapist whose work is grounded in warmth, compassion, and patience. She believes in meeting each client exactly where they are, honoring both their lived experiences and their present realities. She often reflects on the metaphor of Russian nesting dolls. Our past experiences shape who we are today, layer by layer. Healing sometimes requires gently peeling back those layers to tend to younger parts of ourselves before we can fully understand how we show up in the present.

Staff Psychotherapist

Fatema Chamak, LMSW

South Asian immigrant and trauma-informed therapist who approaches therapy as a deeply relational process rather than a one-size-fits-all model. She understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating or out of reach, especially for those who have faced barriers to care. She works with clients navigating identity, life transitions, and the impact of past experiences, and is especially attuned to those who may feel unsure about where to begin. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and able to show up as their full selves, at their own pace.

Staff Psychotherapist

Yasmin Miller, LMSW

Native New Yorker with Caribbean roots in Guyana and Jamaica. Drawing from her own early experiences in the foster care system, she understands how important it is to feel supported, accepted, and safe from a young age. She approaches her work through a trauma-informed lens, and is especially attuned to clients navigating difficult life transitions, identity development, and the lasting impact of early experiences. She believes that our hardest moments do not have to define us, and works to create a space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward in ways that feel true to them.

Staff Psychotherapist

Alicia Jurcisin Giraldo, LMSW

Queer Latina, bilingual (English/Spanish) trauma-informed therapist who specializes in supporting immigrants, LGBTQ, and neurodivergent individuals who are navigating trauma, chronic illness, rehabilitation, and major life transitions. She believes the patterns we carry once helped us survive, and integrates mindfulness, somatic work, CBT, and psychodynamic insights, to build immediate coping tools and deeper self understanding.
